Wedding FAQ

Q: What’s the date of the wedding?
A: Our celebration is being held October 14, 2028.

Q: How long should I plan to be in Greece?
A: Totally up to you! We are planning a few group events that anyone can join if they wish to. We will post a schedule once ready, including optional events and blackout days where everyone is free to relax or explore.

Q: Is there a dress code?
A: The wedding will be simple and relaxed, think breezy, semi-formal, or whatever makes you feel great in the Greek sunshine. We will share more once the venue is confirmed.

Q: Are you having a traditional wedding ceremony?
A: Not quite! It will be a celebration with dinner and drinks. No big ballroom, no dress code pressure, just joy, good views, and great people.

Q: Will meals be provided outside of the wedding?
A: We will provide food for the wedding. The rest of the time, you are free to try local restaurants, cafés, and more at your own pace.

Q: Can I bring a plus-one and/or kids?
A: Absolutely, we would love to have them there! We just ask that you confirm how many people (kids and adults) will be attending when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Q: Will you be providing transportation to the wedding?
A: We will share transport details closer to the date, whether it’s a shuttle, walking route, or something else, we will make sure everyone can get there easily.

Q: How do I RSVP?
A: Save the Dates are on their way, but once we send out official invitations, you will be able to RSVP right here on the website.

Travel FAQ

Q: What are the best airports to fly into?
A: There is only one main commercial airport in Thessaloniki, which is Thessaloniki International Airport "Makedonia" (SKG).

Q: How should I book my flights?
A: We recommend setting flight alerts on apps like Google Flights, Hopper, or Skyscanner. Prices tend to be best 6–9 months out.

Q: Do I need a visa to visit Greece?
A: Citizens from Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. can enter for up to 90 days without a visa. It is advised to make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

If you hold a passport from another country or are unsure about your requirements, we recommend checking with your official government website.

Q: Will there be group accommodations?
A: We plan to reserve a block of hotel rooms for guests to book and will also share other recommended stays once the location is finalized. Ultimately you will be able to choose what works best for your travel style and budget.

Q: What’s the best way to get around in Greece?
A: Thessaloniki is a very walkable city, especially in the central areas where most restaurants, sights, and waterfront spots are located. Taxis and ride-share services are widely available and affordable, and public transit is easy to use for getting around the city.

For anyone planning day trips outside the city, renting a car can be a great option. We will share more specific tips and recommendations closer to the celebration.
